Allison Belcher

Learn about Allison:
Having called the Tampa Bay area home since 1983, Allison Belcher is a proud graduate of Pasco High in Dade City, Florida. She attended the University of Tampa on an academic scholarship, earning a B.S. in criminology.
After college, Allison began her career as a misdemeanor probation officer, supervising mostly DUI offenders for several years. She then attended Stetson College of Law and was admitted into the Florida Bar in 2000. Her legal career started in the Office of the Public Defender in Pasco County, where she spent six years as a criminal defense attorney. Following that, she worked in the Office of the Attorney General in Hillsborough County, representing the Department of Children and Families in dependency cases. For the last ten years, she has been with Ayo and Iken PLC, representing men and women in Family Law and criminal cases, with a focus on divorce, child support, alimony, equitable distribution, and child custody.
Her diverse background has given her a strong foundation in procedural and courtroom practice. She can think quickly on her feet in tense, emotional situations, and she has the tools and experience to handle the toughest family and criminal cases. Allison’s personal life and upbringing have also given her the ability to truly relate to her clients. She knows firsthand what it is like when families face tough legal issues and what it feels like to come out on the other side. Her goal for every client is for them to know that with her, they have an advocate who will stand by them and fight for what’s important. She believes it’s truly possible to come out of your legal issues better and stronger.

Kristal L. Knox

Kristal Knox grew up in a small town in Central Pennsylvania. She graduated with a B.A. in Speech Communications from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York in 2000. Before attending law school, Ms. Knox worked for the family business, a traveling carnival, for several years. Ms. Knox graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston Salem, North Carolina in 2006, and moved to Brooksville, Florida where she spent the first four years of her law career at a small firm practicing Family Law. Thereafter, Ms. Knox worked primarily in Hillsborough and Pinellas County, Florida as an associate attorney for approximately seven years representing clients with an emphasis on family law including but not limited to divorce, custody, paternity, modifications, and domestic violence injunctions.
Ms. Knox never intended to practice Family Law, but with the practice of Family Law, she has found her passion. She is a divorced mother to four children, and also a child of divorce herself, which provides a different perspective. Ms. Knox prides herself on maintaining a close attorney client relationship and working hard for her clients to achieve their desired outcome.
